Plasdan USA has officialy formd to sell and support products from European parent company Plasdan for multishot injection molding systems in North America.

Established in 1989 by Portuguese and German founders in Denmark, Plasdan’s add-n injection units enable multimaterial and multicoor applications without needing two-shot injection molding machnes.

A three-material molding system from Plasdan will demonstrate the production of complex assemblies with two add-on injection units and in-mold robotics at NPE2024.

Plasdan’s equipment will be integrated with a Nissei NEX360V-100LE all-electric molding machine to function in a single cycle — without the need for multiple machines or manual assembly. The setup reduces machine time, labor and energy requirements, and uses less floor space.es here

Injection molding process monitoring technology supplier Kistler Instrument Corp. (Novi, Mich.) has designated Fordham Plastics Equipment Corp. as its exclusive sales representative for injection molding and process monitoring systems to the southeastern U.S.

Fordham Plastics announced Marty Key has been brought on board as technical sales manager and product manager. He has injection molding experience that goes back 20 years, as well as time in the automotive, white goods, packaging, and medical industries. Most recently, he worked with RJG as a consultant and trainer.

ZAG Equipment Sales (Gibsonville, N.C.) has entered an agreement with Plasdan Automação e Sistemas (Marinha Grande, Portugal) giving ZAG exclusive sales rights for Plasdan’s multi component injection molding products in the U.S. Plasdan manufactures add-on injection units and fully electric rotary tables.
